First Generation Allion (2001-2007)

Toyota introduced the first generation of Toyota Allion for younger drivers. These drivers could customize front spoiler and rear mounted truck wings as they wished. In Japan, customers used Toyota Allion for  for taxi, law enforcement and driving school purposes. The car also offered rear tilting seats similar to its front seats. Toyota restyled the car in 2004 by offering LED tail lights. The car was offered with three engine sizes starting from 1.5, 1.8 to 2.0 litres.

Second Generation Toyota Allion (2007- Present)

In 2007, Toyota offered smart entry and start feature, rearview monitor and a hard disk navigation system  in the car. They also offered four-wheel-drive option. The company facelifted the car again in 2010 by offering sharper LED headlights. It also improved its engine and transmission control to improve its fuel consumption.

In 2016, Toyota again facelifted the car by offering collision avoidance system called “Toyota Safety Sense C”. They also stopped offering 1.8 litre engine size in the car.
